Private Ocean recently announced the launch of its virtual “Wealth and Health” event series exclusively for clients, kicking off on February 10th at 2:00PM with Registered Holistic Nutritionist, Stephanie Kay.
These events are designed to help clients look beyond their financial lives and address common topics that are timely and relevant to staying safe, healthy, and informed on how to navigate these unique and often challenging times.
In this first webinar which focuses on managing stress through lifestyle choices and nutrition, Stephanie will cover:
- the impact of the food-mood connection,
- why our gut is our 2nd brain,
- how our hormones influence our food choices,
- how those food choices impacts our cortisol levels,
- and how specific dietary habits and lifestyle choices can increase our capacity to handle stress when we are confronted with it.
“When we think of stress, what we eat may not be the first thing that comes to mind, but it is, in fact, a major factor in our ability to handle stress,” says Stephanie. “While our bodies are hard-wired to deal with stress, a solid foundation of macronutrients and micronutrients can help us cope even better in this crazy time.”
More Wealth and Health events will be announced shortly. For more information on the latest events and access to our exclusive content, sign up for the blog.
