Liz believes that understanding what’s really important to her clients – beyond the numbers – is the key to successful planning for the future. She also knows that life can throw plenty of curve balls and she’s adept in creating flexible, alternative solutions that continue to meet clients’ needs. Her goal: to work smart while providing a warm, authentic, and relaxed atmosphere that breeds trust and confidence.
She helps her clients live for today and invest for a thriving future. She takes pride in helping them strategically build and protect their wealth during earning years and then in guiding them to maximize retirement assets such as Social Security, account distributions, pensions, deferred compensation, and Roth conversions. She is a trusted partner for her clients who rely on her analytical skills and ability to provide clarity when faced with complex financial decisions.
A life-long teacher with a passion for communication, Liz started her career teaching middle-school, then went on to earn graduate degrees in both business and economics. She has held positions in global corporate finance, economics, and the nonprofit sector. She is a certified professional coactive coach, a Certified Investment Management Analyst® professional and also, impressively, an award-winning author of humorous mysteries.
Liz is an advocate for women in investing and planning; she and fellow Advisor Mary Ballin founded and host our Women’s Circles, gatherings where women come together to ask questions and learn from each other’s experiences. She is equally committed to empowering women in financial decision-making and making sure everyone in the room has a voice.
