Private Ocean’s COO, Susan Dickson, was recently recognized by San Francisco Business Times as a Most Influential Women in Business in the Bay Area. A gala awards dinner was held for the honorees at the Hilton San Francisco on May 30th. Read Susan’s profile here.
The annual list celebrates more than 100 women business leaders in real estate, law, tech, finance, health care and many other industries. These women honored work in diverse fields, but all share a passion for what they do. They are leaders in their organizations and their communities.

Since joining the firm in 2005, Susan has helped scale the organization smoothly and efficiently. In addition to her role at Private Ocean, Susan is an adjunct professor in the Barowsky School of Business and Leadership at the Dominican University of California. She is also past president of Junior League Napa-Sonoma and presently a member of the Financial Women’s Association of San Francisco and the American Association of University Women (AAUW). She currently serves as president of the Women, Leadership & Philanthropy Council (WLPC) at Dominican University of California.
